"Adventure at the Bottom of the Sea" was Moomin creator Tove Jansson's first book. Published in 1933 under the pseudonym Vera Haij, Jansson wrote and illustrated this story when she was only thirteen years old! This short little tale, written in rhyme, tells how Mauno, Maikki and their little dog end up at the bottom of the sea, what they see there, and how they are rescued. This edition is in Finnish, with a new translation from the Swedish by Sirke Happonen.
